Site Specific Murals

From corporate board rooms to building exteriors, site specific murals can be installed just about anywhere. I’m with you every step of the way and will work with you selecting the appropriate artwork for your needs. We’ll examine the intended space to determine if you need custom or existing art. Tell me what you have in mind and we will come up with a great solution whether it’s for a hospital, airport or home office.

If you have an existing paining/s in mind, I will make a computer rendering for free. I’ll just need some photos of the intended space and dimensions. If we are a good fit, you’ll sign a contract and put down a deposit.

If you need a custom solution, the process is a little different. We talk about what it is that you want to communicate or the general impression or mood you want to create. If we are a good fit, you’ll sign an intent to commission and put down a deposit. I proceed to computer rendering for your approval, including mock ups that are very similar to what the finished artwork will look like in the intended space. After your approval, I will proceed to a finished painting and will again provide realistic renderings like these examples from your photos – you’ll always know exactly what to expect.

Note, the original painting is typically much smaller than the mural size but will have the same dimension as your space and will be professionally photographed and color corrected in their lab.

Last, we go over material fabrication. Whether to use vinyl or wall paper material depends on indoor or outdoor display, indoors is typically a wall paper material and hung just the same. Unless otherwise mentioned, I can also arrange the installation which can be completed in a day or two.

Current Series

The Beaded Curtain:

Explores the hidden areas in human psychology and identifies repressed secrets, private thoughts and public misnomers. Because there are things I have yet to realize about myself, this series uses a number system instead of titles. The anonymous nature of numbers leaves the paintings open to narrative interpretation.

It was never Eden:

The construct of a perfect paradise is a misnomer, and a misleading ideal that never was as it seemed. A paradise with restrictions and penalties simply cannot exist. — This series is a satirical commentary on the social and religious behaviors that most of us cling to in order to maintain a civilized and structured society.
